Our client is on the hunt for a Senior Business Analyst & Tester. This is a potential contract to hire opportunity, in which the manager is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst that reports to the Deputy Program Manager and supports CMS by analyzing, documenting, and communicating system and businesses processes. Roles and Responsibilities

  • This role should be an expert in technical requirement, functional requirement, and testing fields

  • Able to develop solutions with out of the box thinking to address complex problems

  • Responsible for maintaining Requirements Traceability throughout the full SDLC

  • Responsible for end-to-end test strategy, planning, and communication

  • Facilitate and validate the development of system solutions to satisfy customer’s business needs

  • Conduct software presentations, product demos, and provide technical supports to existing and prospective customers

  • Analyze, document, and communicate system and business processes

  • Provide technical review and validation of requirements

  • Documents requirements, workflows, and processes to meet contractual obligations

  • Must be able to prioritize workload and escalate issues or risks in a timely fashion

  • Responsible for ensuring test cases include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of new and existing functionality

  • Verify completion of requirements with customer and service providers, ensuring expectations are appropriately met

  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes

  • Support the collection and reporting of requirements related metrics

 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of experience developing and maintaining system lifecycle documentation

  • 5 years of experience working with business processes and re-engineering

  • 5 years of business processes and business analysis experience in a system engineering or software application environment

  • 5 years of experience with testing complex systems

  • Knowledgeable in technical and functional operations

  • Capable of asking probing questions and be an effective listener

  • Ability to think critically, evaluate information gathered and present ideas

  • Possesses excellent documentation and writing skills with strong background and experience in problem solving

  • Excellent knowledge of best practices and an understanding of industry trends and difficulties
